Marianne Harris, Indoor Cycling
Mari has actively participated in the USU Be Well Indoor Cycling classes for the past 7 years and has found them to be highly beneficial for improving her overall fitness. She received her indoor cycling certification through the FITOUR program and has been a USU Indoor Cycling substitute instructor for several semesters now. Mari enjoys cycling, weightlifting, and helping others to reach their fitness goals. Being a year-round avid cyclist, she finds these indoor cycling classes help keep her in good shape for outdoor cycling on the road and in the mountains. During the winter months, Mari enjoys the challenge of riding a ‘Fat bike’, with specially equipped tires for riding in the snow.
When not on a bicycle, Mari manages the Biology Greenhouses at USU and holds a degree in Environmental Studies that includes a plant/biology emphasis. She loves spending time exploring our beautiful mountains and discovering the botanical riches they offer. Being a guitar player, her love of music shines through in her cycling classes. Mari enjoys teaching the all ladies Indoor Cycling class and helping USU women get the most out of their fitness goals!
One of Mari’s favorite quotes came from her grandmother:
“It’s a great life, if you don’t weaken.”
