Wellness for me is all about how I feel. It doesn't matter what number is on the scale or what I look like in the mirror. It's all about enjoying and living a full and healthy life. I think it's important for individuals to find an exercise that he/she enjoys doing. Dancing, swimming, hiking, walking, etc. There are so many options available. My fitness goal is to do things that I enjoy but also challenge me. In January 2011 I started Dayna's boot camp. I could only do a handful of push ups at the beginning. Now I can do 5 times that amount. If I can do it, anyone can do it! The wellness classes offered at USU are so fun with a non-judgmental environment. You are motivated to do things you never thought you could.
