I’m working on a new me, not because the old me is bad, but because the old me can improve.”
Working with women every day has made me realize that we are really hard on ourselves. We feel like we are never good enough. I wish I could say that being healthy has always been a top priority for me, but it wasn’t. I was extremely active in my younger years. I loved the feeling of being fit and healthy. As I got older, and life got in the way, I lost the drive to take care of my body. The more weight I gained the more frustrated I got with myself. It has been a journey reclaiming my health and body, but I wouldn’t trade a moment of it. I hope that I can help others understand that fitness isn’t a punishment, it’s a reward for your body. I am looking forward to helping others with their health goals and encouraging them to strive for better fitness.
