I graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and started my work career at Hill Air Force Base in Utah as a Programmer/Analyst. I then worked for Morton Thiokol, Saddleman Seat Covers and Omni Data as a Programmer/Analyst and computer manager. Currently I work at Utah State University as the Director of Digital and Information Technology Services (DITS) and I completed a Master of Library and Information Systems degree while working at USU. I've been at Utah State University for 20 years.
I used my skills during the past 30 years to take my father-in-law’s flower book and make an iPhone and iPad App. It is called Yellowstone and Grand Tetons Wildflower App. Here is my website, http://www.westernwildflower.org.
I enjoy photography and physical fitness, especially running, biking, and baseball.
I was one of the original organizers of the Top of Utah Marathon and Top of Utah Half Marathon. I was involved as a running member and club officer with the Cache Sun ’n Snow Runners for 35 years and I was involved in running events for over 35 years.
Right now I’m a coach for a competitive 13u baseball team and for a 13 year old pony league team.
To me wellness means being physically active, making choices in your life that promotes health, controlling stress, and being aware of things that will make your life safe.
