Attend an Employee Wellness Class





We will be offering in-person and virtual classes during the Fall 2020 semester. A participant limit will be in place for in-person classes and all safety and distancing guidelines must be followed. For more information about classes and guidelines. If you are unsure whether you have met the requirements, please contact us at bewell@usu.edu

: Either scan your registration receipt, payment reciept of take a selfie or picture of you during the class.

The Employee Wellness Center offers a number of different fitness classes for all levels. From yoga and pilates to Cycling and weightliting, there is a class for everyone. Register and attend any class offered through the Employee Wellness Center and attend at least 75% of the class. Classes.

For documentation: Either scan your registration receipt, payment receipt, or snap a picture of you at class!

Trek to Wellness





You can complete this activity by doing any combination of the activities listed below. If you are unsure whether you have met the requirements, please contact us at bewell@usu.edu.

Documentation requirement is the same.

Hike, swim, cross-country ski or run 100 miles during the rewards period to earn 100 points! Miles can be tracked using the excel tracking sheet. Once your miles are complete simply upload your tracking sheet via the submission page.

For documentation: Track your miles in the excel tracking sheet, and upload that when you've reached all 100 miles.

Complete a Fitness Assessment 

In-person fitness assessments have been postponed until further notice. Please email Be Well to request an at home fitness assessment and instructions for completion. Email a copy of the completed assessment back if you would like your assessment to be kept on file with the Employee Wellness Program.
Exercise caution if you must go out in public to complete any part of the assessment. If you are unsure whether you have met the requirements, please contact us at bewell@usu.edu.

For documentation: You must attach the completed assessment when submitting for this activity.

Complete a Fitness Assessment through the USU Be Well Program. Fitness assessments consist of biometric screenings, a walking test as well as upper body, lower body and core strength measurements. Participants will receive a coupon for three free personal training sessions that must be used within a year of the date of assessment. Email BeWell@usu.edu to schedule an appointment or for instructions to complete an at home fitness assessment.

*Employees at Statewide Campuses may complete the at-home fitness assessment and virtual personal training sessions.*

For documentation:  Attach your results page, or just screenshot the email showing your scheduled appointment for the assessment.

Bike to Wellness






If you have access to a road bike or a home stationary bike, please attempt to complete this activity as normal. If you no longer have access to a bike and are unsure whether you have met the requirements, please contact us at bewell@usu.edu.

Documentation requirement is the same.

Do you currently bike to work, for exercise, or for fun? If you can pedal your way to 160 miles during the rewards period you can earn 100 points! Just track your miles using any biking app or fill out the excel tracking sheet HERE and upload it via the submission page.

For documentation: Track your miles in the excel tracking sheet, and upload that when you've reached all 160 miles.

Gym Membership
* All Campuses

All Faculty and Staff may use the ARC while the Nelson Fieldhouse and Employee Wellness Center remain closed until further notice. Please follow all safety guidelines found on Campus Recreation's website. For any other questions, please email bewell@usu.edu

Attend the Employee Wellness Center, Nelson Fieldhouse or any local gym, community center or rec. center a minimum of 24 times between September 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. For non-USU facilities, please submit an attendance log from your gym. Most gyms will gladly print this out at the front desk.

For documentation:  For those attending on-campus gyms, we can get your entries from the computer system to check for attendance.  For all outside gyms, please get a printout showing your attendance (most front desks will give this to you upon request), or track it on your own in an excel sheet (please include dates).

Race Registration

In-person and virtual races will count for this activity. Please follow safety and distancing guidelines of the race(s). If you are unsure whether you have met the requirements, please contact us at bewell@usu.edu. 

Register and complete any race, fun run, or walking events totaling 15k or longer during the reward session and recieve 100 points. You may combine multiple events to reach the 15K total distance.
Scan your registrations or better yet snap a picture of yourself during the event! Upload you images via our submission page.

For documentation:  Get a screenshot of an email showing the registration receipt, scan other payment receipts or your race bib, or take a few pictures of you at the race!

At-home Workouts from the Be Well Social Media Pages

We understand life may be complicated these days and lack of time may not allow you to exercise at a gym or on campus - so we are bringing the workouts to you! Complete a minimum of 15 of the at-home workouts found on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Additional exercises, stretches and movements can be found on our YouTube page as well. Don't forget to 'Like', 'Follow' and 'Subscribe' for updates and information from the Be Well Program!

For documentation:  Record which workout you completed and the date and submit it to your dashboard.

Complete One Free Personal Training Session 

In-person training sessions must follow safety guidelines of the Aggie Recreation Center. 

Whether you have just started contemplating your wellness journey or ready to get started now, our Personal Trainers are here to help! Contact one today to schedule a free 1.5 hour training session that will include a brief health history assesment, address goals and concerns and a personalized exercise program with the tools to continue and maintain on your own. 

If needed, additional one (1) hour long sessions may be purchased. 

For documentation:  Take a selfie with your trainer during your session or scan a copy of your exercise program.
