Meet with your financial advisor to discuss your financial future. Financial advisor can be from any institution that you choose. You do not have to meet with the advisors available through the USU benefits program.

Fidelity, URS and TIAA-CREF advisors are available on Logan main campus by appointment. To view availability and to schedule an appointment click here and follow the links for the respective vendors.

Stress Management Series

USU Be Well is now offering an online Stress Management Series by Dr. David Katz. This is a 3 part series designed to help you recognize, manage and master stress. The videos are a total of 45 minutes long and are hosted on the ILS system.  Learn how to register for this free course.

NEHMA USU Sculpture Walk

Get out of the office and take a walk to see some of the beautiful artwork displayed across campus. The USU Sculpture Walk includes 3 self-guided tours to showcase 36 public sculptures across campus. You may choose any of the three routes available. Routes vary in distance between 1.25 miles and 3.33 miles long. You can tune into any audio tour using your mobile device at spts.us/nehma/tours. Printed maps including the different routes and their distances are available in the Employee Wellness Center (HPER 109), or at the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum. Virtual maps of the tour are available.

For documentation:  Take pictures at each site and upload them via the submission page. (Note: you don’t need pictures of every single place, but include at least 5 to show you did the activity)

Wellness and Benefits Lunch and Learn Seminars







In-person Lunch and Learns have been cancelled until further notice. Registration links for the virtual presentation can be found by clicking on the title of the presentation.

Come learn about current topics in health and wellness as well as informative presentations from our benefits teams most frequently asked questions. Learn how you can start or continue your health and wellness journey and become a smarter consumer of your benefits package. All presentations will take place from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. via technology.

Spreading positivity video series

Help spark a movement towards positive creative work environments with this video series hosted on the ILS. Select 'Catalog' on the left side of the screen and filter for 'Be Well or Employee Wellness'. You will see it as a list of "TED Talks" for you to choose from.  Pick any 3 videos to watch, and enjoy learning some tips to having a more positive life! (Be sure to click "Show More Results" at the bottom to see the full list!)

For documentation:  Screenshot your “My Learning” page (be sure to check the Be Well box under "Skills" to filter it first) to show that you have watched at least 3 of the videos, and upload it on the submission page.

Audit a USU class or take a class for credit.

Documentation required is the same.

Continue to grow your skill set and education by auditing a class offered through USU. All employees working 50% time or more may audit classes for free. Class fee may apply for lab supplies etc. For more information, please visit the auditing page.

For documentation:  Screenshot your class schedule on Banner to show what class you are registered for, or get a signed note from the instructor that you are enrolled in the class.

Scavenger Hunt 2020

Four clues are found within buildings on campus. If campus buildings close, those clues will be voided and only the remaining 10 clues will be required for completion. If you are unsure whether you have met the requirements, please contact us at bewell@usu.edu

Documentation requirement is the same. 

Take a walk around campus and try to find all 14 locations. Once you have found them snap a photo of yourself at the location and fill in the blanks with the corresponding numbers. Download the scavenger hunt map and photos.

For documentation:  Take pictures at each site along with the completed map with matching numbers, and upload them via the submission page. (Note: you don’t need pictures of every single place, but include at least 5 to show you did the activity)

Get a Flu Shot

Exercise caution when visiting a physician and call ahead if you have questions or concerns or symptoms of COVID-19.

Get your annual flu shot either at our annual Flu Shot Clinic or at your local pharmacy or primary care physicians office. For more information or to register visit flushots.usu.edu.

USU Historic Walking Tour

Utah State just celebrated 130 years! The Utah State University Historic Walking Tour offers a self-guided stroll to many of the iconic, overlooked, and even forgotten structures of the USU campus. The walk covers approximately 1.5 miles and requires around 30 minutes to complete. For more information on the history of campus, be sure to explore the guide’s companion digital exhibit, The Built Environment: 130 Years of Growth, Development, and Change on the USU CampusPrinted maps are available in the Employee Wellness Center (HPER 109), the Merrill-Cazier Library service desk, or download the walking tour map and photos.

Attend the Wellness Expo

Attend the Wellness & Benefits Expo in the Taggart Student Center Sunburst Lounge. Fill out the passport by visiting vendor booths and turn it in to be entered to win great prizes from our vendors.

Join a Building Response Team







Help your department or building plan for unexpected events (like a pandemic!) by participating on a Building Response Team. 
1. Email emergencymanagement@usu.edu to see if your department/building already has an Emergency Response Plan (ERP). They’ll schedule a time to go over it with you and help you understand the opportunities for participation (Plan for a 1 hour overview).
2. Review the plan and positions, or begin a plan if it doesn’t yet exist, and choose the position that suits your availability and skills.

For documentation: Submit the updated plan to emergencymanagement@usu.edu and select this activity on the submission page. They will confirm your participation when we are reviewing submissions.

Obtain a Certification or Recertify an Existing Certification




Getting a certification is a great way to further your knowledge or expertise in your current position and provide opportunities for career growth. They can also be a way to make connections and network with peers. Take some time to find a certification that will help you professionally or ask your supervisor for suggestions.
