Cultivating wellness is an ongoing activity in my life. To me, that means adopting behaviors that will support a long, happy life in which I can do the activities I need to as well as the ones I want to. I’m interested in warding off both infectious and chronic diseases by staying active (I like to lift weights and do aerobic exercise; I also enjoy gardening), not engaging in high-risk behaviors (e.g., smoking), and seeking out experiences that are interesting and people who are enjoyable to be with. I am always eager to engage with others about what it means to maintain wellness. That is why I am interested in being a Wellness Ambassador.
