I celebrated my tenth anniversary with Utah State University this year. My daughter, Lily is a graduate of Logan High and will be an Aggie this fall. I am also a newlywed!
I consider wellness to be a journey. Often time, we look at health and fitness through the lens of getting “results”. I propose we look at wellness as a way of life. In my twenties “wellness” was a competition. I wanted to be faster, leaner, and stronger and I had the injuries to prove it.
At 48, nurturing my mind, body and spirit is what I consider the key to staying well. It is a lifelong process. I strive to be a positive example and role model for health and wellness to my family, friends and colleagues.
